Breast Cancer Awareness Month at GAHHS
October 3, 2011
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and in the Radiology Department we do our best to bring this cause to the attention of the community. For fellow employees and patients, we will offer information tables and wall displays for all to read and enjoy. Also, be on the lookout for pink boxes and bags for you to drop off your Yoplait and Dannon yogurt lids. We will then turn these in and both companies will make a donation to help find a cure for Breast Cancer.
Jeans Payday proceeds, along with all other money raised in the month of October, will be going to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Also an email is being sent out providing information on how to purchase Breast Cancer Awareness shirts. All GAHHS employees that have purchased a shirt will wear them in unity of Friday, October 28 to work. Raffle tickets are available in the radiology department all month for multiple Breast Cancer Awareness items. The drawing will be at 1:00p.m. on Friday, October 28 after the Pink Ribbon Cookie Sale.
