Marsha Warsaw Awarded GAHHS Employee of the Month for October
October 12, 2011
Marsha Warsaw has been awarded the Gibson Area Hospital & Health Services (GAHHS) October Employee of the Month. Marsha currently lives in the town she was born and raised in, Bellflower. Marsha is currently a RN in the Cardiopulmonary Rehab and Outpatients clinics, however her career with GAHHS began 35 years ago.
“I started working here as a cleaning lady, then switched to a CNA, and then went to the Mennonite School of Nursing to become a RN. After school I returned to GAHHS and worked in OB for over 20 years,” said Marsha.
Working at any one place for over 30 years is an accomplishment in and of itself, but Marsha attributes here longevity at GAHHS to really enjoying her coworkers and the support GAHHS offers its staff.
“I appreciate the educational opportunities available through my job, they enable me to provide the quality care GAHHS is known for,” said Marsha.
Marsha enjoys spending time with her husband Steve and their four children (Aaron, Bryan, Greg, Stefani) and their two granddaughters (Melia and Linnea). When not with her family, you can find Marsha writing, working in her garden, or riding horses.
